JOB TITLE : INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN

· Conduct work in a manner prescribed by Company Environmental Health and Safety Work Practices.

· Identify and Assess opportunities to improve safety, reliability and maintenance costs.

· Troubleshooting and repairs to plant Instrumentation and Electrical equipment systems to support production.

· Execution of Instrumentation and Electrical PM work orders.

· Repairs/calibration of various control valves, actuators and measurement devices.

· Record and report equipment problems/calibrations and repair records.

· Minor Electrical and Instrumentation construction tasks such as wiring, termination loop test etc.

· Installation of Instruments device, function testing.

· Use Asset Management system to track work orders, parts necessary to make repairs, improve information and preventative maintenance activities.

· Respond to afterhours maintenance/troubleshooting calls

· Basic knowledge of PLC’S and DCS systems.

· Check valve stroke and positioned for proper functioning
